Guest Numbers
Under no circumstances may more that the declared number of persons stay in the property. The booking may be revoked (without refund) if this condition is not observed. The owners reserve the right to revoke (without refund) a booking in the event of unacceptable behaviour or conduct by guest/guests of the property at Mill House Farm Pods.
Noise Policy
The location of the site at Mill House Farm Pods is of significant appeal and it is essential guests do not compromise our neighbour’s enjoyment of the desirable environment. We kindly ask that you respect surrounding neighbours and show particular consideration in the early morning and late evening. Failure to comply would be deemed unacceptable behaviour.
Hot Tub
It is planned that the hot tub will be available for the exclusive use of Mill House Farm Pods guests. In the unlikely event the hot tub is closed due to unforeseen circumstances, the owners will not be liable for compensation. Please ensure the following rules are strictly observed;
- Guests are responsible for their own safety – the hot tub is not supervised by the owners.
- Guests are required to sign the hot tub disclaimer form and to comply with the hot tub rules, as detailed.
- The use of the hot tub by persons under the age of 16 years is strictly prohibited.
- Adults under the influence of alcohol must not supervise the use of the hot tub.
- Any evidence of broken glass in the hot tub or around it must be reported without delay.
- Users of the hot tub must dry themselves before re-entering the Pod.
Care of the Property
Guests are responsible for taking care of the property during their stay and are accountable for any breakages or damage (at the discretion of the owners), which must be reported prior to departure. The costs are payable on demand and are not restricted to loss or rental – the owners reserve the right to include consequential and incurred losses. All equipment and contents must be left clean and tidy on departure with the exception of bed linen and towels.
Guests must ensure that the property is not exposed to any increased risk of flooding (e.g., taps left turned on) or fire (the use of candles and fireworks is strictly prohibited.) If your party is intending to leave the property for a period of time, please ensure all the windows and doors are securely locked.
The site operates a non-smoking policy – in the event of a breach of this policy, the owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover the cost of cleaning and repairs.
A standard charge of £50 will be levied if keys are taken from the property on departure.
Right of Entry
The owners reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for the purpose of emergency repairs should they become necessary. They will obviously respect your right to privacy and confidentiality and accommodate any reasonable request regarding timing.
Farm Safety
As we are a working farm, you will regularly see farm machinery using the farm track. Please take extra care when out and about. You will also see farm animals around the site. Please do not enter any fields or open any gates as farm animals can be unpredictable.
Complaints Procedure
You must inform the owner immediately of any problems which may arise, and every effort will be made to take remedial action as soon as possible. In the unlikely event of a loss of service, failure of equipment or another unforeseen circumstance, the owners cannot be held liable for compensation.
Liability
The owners of Mill House Farm Pods shall not be liable for death or any personal injury. No liability is accepted for any damage, injury, loss, expense (accidental or otherwise) or inconvenience to you or a member of your party. This policy extends to personal belongings, damage by or to any third party or damage to any motor vehicle or its contents – which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the hire of the property at Mill House Farm Pods. The terms of the contracts (rights of the third party) Act 1999 shall not apply to this contract.
The floors and steps throughout the property are tile/wood and particular care should be taken to avoid trips, slips and falls.
